Chris Hasling, CFP, CAP, CLU, ChFC
Chris Hasling joined Box Financial Advisors in September 2014. Chris began in the industry while in college at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. After graduating in December 2004, Chris pursued his mission to connect business owners and high net worth individuals with their hopes, goals, and dreams for tomorrow by developing customized and independent financial plans.
Chris's professional designations include CFP® - Certified Financial Planner, CAP® - Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, ChFC® - Chartered Financial Consultant, and CLU® - Chartered Life Underwriter.
Chris is an active member of the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce. MetroNorth Chamber is made up of many business and community leaders who work together to advance a wide range of civic, economic, and development interests. In cooperation with other chamber leaders, Chris was part of the group that brought quarterly business council meetings to the city of Blaine. During Chris’s nine years of membership with the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce he chaired the Annual Fundraising Gala Committee in 2009 and 2010.
Chris is a member and regularly attends meetings with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, NAIFA Minnesota. Chris supports the mission of NAIFA and he helps advocate for a positive legislative and regulatory environment. Chris is committed to enhance his business and professional skills, while promoting ethical conduct amongst his fellow members.
Chris became a Rotarian in February 2011. The Rotary motto "Service Above Self" and their mission "Do Good in the World" attracted him to the Blaine/Ham Lake Rotary Club. He served as the Blaine/Ham Lake Rotary President for the 2013-2014 year. The Blaine/Ham Lake Rotary Club meets weekly to build fellowship and plan service projects.
Chris lives in Blaine with his family and finds his greatest enjoyment by spending time with his wife Niomi, his daughter Addyson (age 3), and son Bentley (age 5). Chris water skis when they are at the lake. Chris also runs races of all distances. In May 2016 Chris ran 30 miles on the Superior Hiking Trail with 250 other athletes. Between road race marathons, ultra-trail runs, and triathlons Chris is usually training for something.
