Anthony D. Wilson, JD, MBA joined Box Financial Advisors in June of 2016 as the Director of Operations assisting Doug Box in overseeing firm operations and activities. He was recently named Vice President of Operations to better reflect the breadth of his role within the firm. As the Vice President of Operations, Anthony integrates the firm’s five strategic teams to implement the firm’s strategic vision. Ultimately, Anthony is responsible to create an environment that allows the Box Financial Advisors staff and advisors to succeed within the firm’s mission, vision, and values.
In addition to his responsibilities of oversight and implementation of the firm’s strategic goals, Anthony is responsible for sharing the vision and opportunities that Box Financial Advisors offers independent advisors. With the Box Financial Advisors mission being to create an environment where people can experience an exceptional life, Anthony believes that an exceptional life for independent advisors means having the staff, systems, and process necessary to confidently meet and serve their clients and enjoy their life apart from the day-to-day management of the firm’s operations.
Anthony has served in varying roles throughout his professional career - prosecutor in Florida, attorney assisting clients with insurance claims, college basketball coach, and member of the administrative team at a small college. Immediately, before joining Box Financial Advisors, Anthony served as a compliance advisor at Raymond James Financial assisting financial advisors across the country in complying with regulations related to the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
Anthony earned his undergraduate degree from Clearwater Christian College and his law degree and MBA from Stetson University.
Anthony met his wife, Jennifer, while they both attended Clearwater Christian College. Jennifer is a native Minnesotan who interned at Box Financial Advisors from 2004-2006. Anthony and Jennifer were married in 2006 and have three children – Elijah, Anaya, and Johnathan. Anthony and his family enjoy most sports, and a family debate continues about whether December or March is the best month of the year. Anthony and his family also actively serve in their local church and are proud to see former Sunday School students who now serve as missionaries in various parts of the world.
