Austin Shabaz

Austin Shabaz joined Box Financial Advisors in January 2026 as a Business Processing Specialist, where he takes pride in contributing to efficient internal operations. Prior to his official start, Austin completed two summer internships with the firm, one on the Planning Team and another on the Client Services Team.

As part of the Box Financial team, Austin assists in overseeing the firm’s primary technologies, tracking all work, following firm processes, maintaining compliance guidelines, and more.

Austin graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh in 2026 with a degree in Finance and a certificate in Insurance and Risk Management. His interest in the financial industry developed at a young age through exposure to his father’s career as a Financial Advisor. He plans to continue the family tradition as he expands his knowledge and refines his professional skills.

• Outside of work, Austin enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Lucy.
• Austin values opportunities to spend time with friends and family whenever possible, with a particular appreciation for engaging in outdoor activities together during the summer months.
• Austin has a strong interest in golfing across the Midwest and aspires to dedicate a year in retirement to traveling and playing at many of the major courses.
