Dan joined Box Financial Advisors in 2008 as an advisor in training with the primary responsibility of handling the firm's trading. He also immediately began assisting Doug Box with meetings to gain real-world experience. During this period, he enrolled at the American College to obtain the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, which he completed in 2012.
In 2017, Dan transitioned into the role of independent advisor, and he continues to serve the firm by remaining significantly involved in the trading processes, assisting with the firm’s technology implementation, and leading the technology strategic team. Dan’s takes pride in serving pastors, widows, and others who need complicated planning with care and integrity.
Dan earned his undergraduate degree from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, majoring in Bible and earning dual minors in Youth Ministry and Counseling. In addition to the CFP® designation, Dan obtained the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation in 2017.
Dan and his wife, Tracy, have three children – Laura, Leroy, and Levi. The family enjoys most things outdoors including canoeing, running, biking, wildlife viewing, and exploring Minnesota's awesome parks. They are very active at church and would love to see you there.
