Willis Krumholz, JD, MBA, CFA
Chief Investment Officer
Willis Krumholz joined Box Financial Advisors in April of 2026 as the Chief Investment Officer, where he takes pride in leading the firm’s investment management, portfolio, trading, and planning strategies. Prior to joining the Box Financial team, Will spent 7 years at US Bank Wealth Management, focused on global macro and thematic investing. Since 2022, Will spent 4 years in private equity, focused on investing and financing solar and energy storage projects.
As a part of the Box Financial team, Will is responsible for creating systems and processes for suitable investment solutions. Will specializes in thinking deeply about markets and the economy and translating this work into appropriate actions for client portfolios. Will takes a rules-based and repeatable approach to asset allocation and portfolio construction, where we take lessons from the past and apply them carefully and mathematically to the present day.
Will graduated from Bethel University with a degree in History in 2011. He went on to graduate from the University of St. Thomas with his J.D. and MBA. In 2018, Will obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
